Absolutely beautiful and unique. Pre-rounded, polyester resin blanks. The bottom third of the blank is black, the top two thirds are clear and contain the selected embed. We HIGHLY recommend that you be familiar with turning acrylics and/or polyester resins. These require VERY SHARP tools and a LIGHT TOUCH. Small bubbles may exist and are not considered a defect or flaw. These can be filled easily with CA glue. These are in extremely limited quantity. We will be added new styles as they become available. These blanks are $6.95 each, and there is no quantity discounting. |

Here's a complete barrel trimming system. An essential step for making a quality pen project is to square the end of your pen blanks and pen tubes prior to final assembly.
APW's system includes cutting shafts that will fit into a drill chuck or lathe chuck. The shaft will clean the glue from the tubes and act as a pilot for the 3/4" squaring cutter. This complete system includes:

7 Color Assortment of Corn Cob Pen blanks: Red, Blue, Orange Green, Gray, Purple & Clear
Give the gift of a truly unusual pen made from a corn cob pen blank. Turning a corn cob blank is a fun and unique experience. The blanks are made from cobs that are dyed, stabilized and hardened. Blanks are about 5" long and will make pens up to 5/8" diameter (varies). Turns and finishes similar to stabilized woods, requires a light touch and may require filling occasional voids with CA glue.
